How does the halal check work?

Halal Pal scans barcodes or ingredient lists and checks them against a database of known halal and haram ingredients. Results are shown instantly as Halal, Haram, or Mushbooh.

What is Dhabiha mode?

Dhabiha mode applies stricter checking by flagging unverified meat sources (chicken, beef, lamb, etc.) as Haram. You can toggle it in Settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone to cancel at any time.

The app didn't recognise a product. What should I do?

Try scanning the ingredient list directly using the Ingredients mode. If the product still isn't recognised, email us the barcode number and we'll look into it.

How do I restore my Premium subscription?

Tap "Restore Purchase" on the upgrade screen. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used when you originally subscribed.
